The Process (Complete Online Application)

1. The Complete Online application allows you to create a user name and password to access your HPI Employment Portal at any time.
2. The Complete Online application starts off by asking you to complete a formal employment application. It is very important that you include all the necessary information regarding your previous work experience, education, certifications, etc.
3. After you complete the Complete Online Application we will need to talk with you in detail so we can understand the type of agency nursing work that fits your previous nursing experience (We are only able to place nurses into assignments where you have previous experience).
4. After we talk with you we will set up your HPI Employment Portal to include the necessary forms and tests that fit your area of specialty.
5. After you complete the all the online forms and provide us with all the required credentials we will schedule an appointment for you to visit one of our offices for a personal interview. The personal interview takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. We have two offices in the Chicagoland area for your convenience:

The Personal Interview

1. The Personal Interview process includes:
2. Review of Healthcare Personnel’s background, clients, procedures, pay rates, etc.
3. Review of your nursing background and experience.
4. Detailed talks about the facilities we service and where you would like to work.
5. Based upon your preferred facilities we will talk through any required orientation material or on-site required orientations that may be required by the hospitals.
6. Processing your Healthcare Personnel ID badge.

Credential Requirements

Below is a list of the basic credential requirements that need to be met prior to starting any assignment at Healthcare Personnel. The credential requirements do very depending on the type of assignment. The list below is a guide. Please contact us to discuss your specific credential requirements.

1. Professional License RN, LPN, CNA, Other
2. CPR Card
3. ACLS Card (for ICU, Tele, ER)
4. Annual TB
5. Annual TB Questionnaire (if positive TB Test)
6. Chest X-ray (every 5 years, if positive TB Test)
7. Annual Physical
8. Mumps Titer (Hospital Staffing Only)
9. Rubella Titer (Hospital Staffing Only)
10. Rubeola Titer (Hospital Staffing Only)
11. Varicella Titer (Hospital Staffing Only)
12. Hep B or declination (Hospital Staffing Only)
13. SS Card or Birth Certificate or Passport
14. Picture ID

After your personal interview it normally takes up too 3-5 days to process your application for employment.
